FLAG DAY 2017

The Missouri Korean War Veterans Memorial invites you to bring your old, your tired, your tattered and faded flags in Observance of National Flag Day on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, 10:30 a.m.
at the Missouri Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington Square Park, Pershing and Main Streets, Kansas City, Missouri.

The Keynote Speaker will be COL Walton Harris “Buck” Walker, II, US Army (Ret), Grandson of GEN Walton H. “Bulldog” Walker, US Army, “Savior of Korea.”

Mark Alford, WDAF Fox 4, will be the Master of Ceremonies. The American Legion Band, Heather Pickett Conducting and the Lee’s Summit Methodist Men of Note will perform.

Flag drop off at area Dignity Memorial Providers of Kansas City
American Legion Posts in Greater Kansas City Individual flag collection, 9-10 a.m.
