Join us Tuesday, June 14 at 10:30 a.m. at the Missouri Korean War Memorial in Washington Square Park as we respectfully retire a flag in observance of Flag Day. Colonel Michael A. Santacroce, USMC (Ret) will deliver a keynote address. The Color Guard and Honor Guard will be provided by the American Legion Post 182, while music will be provided by the American Legion Band, supported by the Methodist Men of Note.
The purpose is to respect the memory and sacrifices of veterans, to educate people on the proper way to retire a flag, and to show respect to the U.S. Flag. Information about additions to the Missouri Korean War Memorial will be revealed at this important event.
