Official State Memorial

Official State Memorial

As you have read SB656, designating our Kansas City Korean War Veterans Memorial as THE MISSOURI STATE DESIGNATED KOREAN WAR MEMORIAL has been voted on and approved by the Missouri Legislature!

Governor Mike Parson’s will be joining us in Kansas City to officially sign the bill.

We will keep you posted on the date! This has been a long battle and I am honored to have lead the charge! There are so many, many people who have joined in on this project! I will simply say thank you to all and most especially Senator Mike Cierpiot and our Missouri Korean War Veterans Memorial Board of Directors and Advisory Board.

The Missouri Korean War Veterans Memorial honors all Korean War Veterans especially those from the great state of Missouri. We also pay homage to Korean War Survivors as well as the over 2 million South Koreans murdered during the war.

Our next endeavor is to finish the memorial by raising the funds for our sculpture.

With Great Appreciation,

Debra Shultz
Chair
Missouri Korean War Veterans Memorial
